The combination of fixed prosthetics and removable partials is one of the most challenging aspects of comprehensive dentistry. During our 2 1/2 day course we will discuss how this prosthetic success can become very predictable for you and your patients. Using selected case studies you will learn a programmed approach to treatment planning, but more importantly a programmed approach to treatment sequencing that will ensure success with these cases.

  •  The use of Transfer Bases and the Modified Applegate technique (the key to successful outcomes)

  • The three R’s of removable dentistry - Relines, Remounts and Repairs
  • Why an implant over denture is actually a bilateral distal extension partial
  • How to incorporate implants into partial denture treatment
  • Techniques for treatment plan presentation
  • Use of the Awareness Curve to determine a patient’s willingness to accept diagnosed treatment
  • How to find and develop a relationship with a high quality laboratory
  • How to fabricate a crown under an existing partial (The hardest job in dentistry)
  • Case Saving Techniques
